TGS was conceptualized as a weekly newspaper that would carry stories of positive change. This perspective and the old axiom of India being a ‘Sone ki Chidiya’ inspired the name ‘The Golden Sparrow’ or TGS.
Design work started with developing the Masthead after which we developed style sheets and outlined a framework for different sections of the paper. We combined editorial design with effective content strategy to produce a reader friendly, clean and versatile template that could be moulded to suit the varied nature and pace of content featured.
Our engagement with TGS continued for a year, wherein we were responsible for the timely completion of the newspaper for print every week.
The task here was not just to design the template and the weekly issue but build and train the in-house design team to be able to carry forward the design work independently post the completion of our engagement.
