The objective was to create an aspirational and international look for Gadre that would help the brand to build recall amongst its consumers. Our mandate was to pave a path for easy and methodical future product expansion by defining a packaging system.
On the previuos packaging, the brand was lost in a sea of sub-brands. We created a flat hierarchy that helped bring Gadre to the forefront of consumer attention.
Research with consumers brought to light that buying seafood can be an intimidating experience for some. Tapping on the humorous side of the target audience, witty wordplay complimented with illustrations were designed to pique the buyer’s curiosity and engage them intelligently while making the products more approachable. This packaging refresh had helped to bring many new consumers into the fold while building a strong following amongst existing consumers.
